Luxury resort group announces comprehensive Christmas and New Year programming at multiple properties, with special packages running through early January
Atmosphere Hotels & Resorts and its Colours of OBLU brand have announced their seasonal offerings for the 2025-2026 holiday period, with festivities scheduled to run from late December through early January across their Maldivian properties.
The resort group is highlighting programming at two of its properties: Atmosphere Kanifushi Maldives and OBLU SELECT Lobigili, each offering distinct approaches to holiday celebrations tailored to their respective guest profiles.
Atmosphere Kanifushi Maldives
Atmosphere Kanifushi Maldives will host its festive season from December 21, 2025, through January 7, 2026. The resort’s schedule includes morning yoga sessions, lagoon excursions, and evening entertainment centered around a beachfront Christmas tree installation.
Christmas Eve programming features a beachfront gala dinner followed by DJ entertainment. Christmas Day activities include a festive lunch service and outdoor cinema screening. The resort’s holiday calendar concludes with its Twilight Fantazia New Year’s Gala on December 31, featuring a fireworks display.
The property is offering a holiday package with 20% savings on stays of four nights or longer, which includes complimentary seaplane transfers, the resort’s all-inclusive KANIFUSHI Plan, and access to festive dining experiences and the New Year’s Eve gala.
OBLU SELECT Lobigili
The adults-only OBLU SELECT Lobigili property will run its festive programming from December 22, 2025, through January 9, 2026. The resort is positioning its offerings toward couples, with activities including wellness sessions and a tree-lighting ceremony.
Christmas Eve at Lobigili features cocktail service, a gala dinner at the property’s Ylang Ylang restaurant, and an outdoor movie screening. The resort’s New Year’s Eve celebration will follow a masquerade theme, concluding with fireworks over the lagoon.
OBLU SELECT Lobigili is offering discounts of up to 20% on four-night minimum stays, with packages including round-trip transfers, the all-inclusive LOBI Plan, and access to seasonal programming including the Christmas Eve gala and tree-lighting ceremony.
Both properties are part of Atmosphere Hotels & Resorts’ broader seasonal programming across its Maldivian portfolio, which the company describes as designed to blend traditional holiday celebrations with tropical island experiences.
