The Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) has officially rebranded as Visit Maldives Corporation Limited, following a strategic government initiative aimed at strengthening the nation’s tourism promotion efforts.
According to a statement from the President’s Office, H.E. President Dr. Mohammed Muizzu noted that the name change aligns with the policy of consolidating similar functions under a unified body. The rebrand underscores a renewed focus on destination branding, international marketing, and global outreach.
President Dr. Muizzu further announced that the corporation will amend its articles of association and bylaws to reflect the transition. Under its new identity, Visit Maldives Corporation Limited will continue to champion the Maldives as a leading global holiday destination, promoting growth and visibility in a sustainable and efficient manner.
