Holiday Inn Male, located at the Ameer Ahmed Magu is slated for opening in early 2009. It is the first internationally designed and managed hotel in Male. Accommodation is in the form of 117 stylish rooms, which include 35 Superior rooms, 72 Deluxe rooms, 9 Executive rooms and one Presidential Suite. The spacious Deluxe rooms and Executive rooms feature a comfortable seating area, while Presidential Suit has a separate dining area, private kitchen and a second, connecting bedroom.
The hotel offers a range of fine cuisine. The Lobby Café “Panini” offers barista style coffees, teas, juices, mocktails, along with cakes, pastries, sandwiches and light meals. The ‘All Day Dining’ restaurant has a la carte menu. The Rooftop restaurant serves a la carte meals for lunch and dinner, and snacks throughout the day.
There are four well-equipped meeting rooms for seminars, board meetings, exhibitions, wedding banquet and private celebrations. The Grand Ballroom can accommodate 180– 230 persons.
